Oky Rey Montha Bukit, or affectionately known as Kyre, was born on January 3, 1986, in Yogyakarta, but grew up in the mountainous region of Karo Regency, North Sumatra. Since childhood, Kyre has been familiar with the world of his imagination, which he primarily applied to sheets of paper. Being born with artistic talent inherited from his father wasn’t the primary reason for his career as an artist. Kyre began his journey in the world of visual arts in 2006. He has participated in various painting competitions, resulting in numerous awards. Not stopping there, Kyre is also active in holding solo exhibitions and participating in various events, including both group art exhibitions and art fairs, ranging from national to international levels.
